Problem	Proposal (solutions)
Ocean waters are polluted from chemical waste.	Countries must agree to punish anyone who dumps wastes in our oceans.
Household water is being wasted by careless people.	Limit residents even more strict when it comes to water fees. Maybe limit them to only use an ideal amount, and not give any more than that.
People in other countries have no access to clean water.	Have clean water transported to those areas.
Rainwater is not contained properly.	Clean up our water towers and use them up to their full potential.
Water pipes are broken, causing water to leak.	Have usual checkups on the pipes, and fix anything needed.
People are ignoring water problems.	Spread the word to save water more often.
People litter too much around water resources.	Punish people who litter, and clean up our beaches properly.
People aren’t careful enough with the amount of water we use.	Take showers instead of baths, use cooking water to water plants, turn off faucets whenever unused.
Factories and water parks spend too much water.	Cut down the amount of such facilities, and limit the amount of water they have access to.
People might forget to turn off faucets properly, or waste water by playing with it.	Design a faucet that automatically shuts off after 5 minutes, or requires a lock.

Nearly one billion people don’t have clean water to do basic cleaning for themselves. With only about seven billion people on our earth, this is a bigger problem than we think.
I think that a big reason behind this is that our daily life wastes too much water. We should be sure to turn off the water faucets at all times when not needed. Maybe an invention that turns off water automatically after 5 minutes would help, to ensure that no one simply forgot to turn the faucet off(1). We could have usual checkups(2) on water pipes so that they don’t leak, or even better, limit residents’ water access(3) even stricter for efficiency.
Other than that, our ocean is heavily polluted. Perhaps we could punish people who are caught littering(4), and clean up our beaches more often and more properly.
Saving water is only one step away! Spread the word, and remember that taking action is much more efficient than only talking!
