Shot #1 - What will you film?
We will focus the camera on a blank canvas, while I draw on it. We will take turns on speaking, explaining what to draw.
Start with pencil sketch.
What will you say? Who will say it?
A: I’m Andria,
J: and I’m Justin,
AJ: and today we’re going to explain how a Zentangle drawing works.
A: Which is, if you have no idea what it is, something like this; I drew these before.
J: To start off, sketch the shape you want in the middle with a pencil. Make sure the lines are clear.
A: Then you fill the parts outside of the shape with doodles. You could use different colors, but I prefer black.
What will you do? Who will do it?
Andria will record and edit the video at home. Both of us will speak.
Shot #2 - What will you film?
Explain doodles to draw.
What will you say? Who will say it?
J: I know it’s hard to think of doodles, so here are some
tips.
A: Basically, you’re filling everything with lines and
shapes.
J: For lines, things like this:
A: For shapes:
J: It takes time, but just keep repeating it over and over.
What will you do? Who will do it?
Draw different types of curvy, loopy, decorated lines.
Shot #3 - What will you film?
Finished drawing and closeups.
What will you say? Who will say it?
A: Lastly, erase the pencil lines:
AJ: ...and that’s how it works! Thanks for watching!

Erase pencil lines. Pan up and down the drawing.
